What are your programs?

The Alliance for GLBTQ Youth offers a variety of programs designed to further our mission. We provide educational trainings to promote acceptance and equality for everyone. We plan social, youth enrichment events where GLBTQ youth can safely share their experiences and have fun. We provide emotional support through care coordination, group and individual counseling, family support groups, assistance with homelessness, substance abuse, HIV testing and other referral services. Who can you use your services?

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning youth in Miami-Dade County between the ages of 11 to 18. However, we also invite straight allies to participate in our programs. We are all about inclusion! We also work with family members of GLBTQ youth to facilitate the stress (and sometimes conflict) of coming out on the whole family. Lastly, community agencies, schools, any organization youth and families participate with interested in learning more about gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning issues is always welcome to contact us for trainings.

Where are you located?

Our main office is located at 1175 NE 125th Street Suite 510, North Miami, FL 33161. The office hours are Monday through Friday 9:30AM to 5:30PM and we can be reached at (305) 899-8087. Come by and visit us!

Our Care Coordinators and Family Specialist will meet with youth or families wherever is safest – that could mean our office, at school, the library, home, anywhere private and safe. We’ll come to you!
