Thank you for taking an interest in The Alliance for GLBTQ Youth. As a young organization in the Executive Board development process, we are requesting that you give serious consideration to an appointment for a Board of Directors position. 

Since our founding in 2008, The Alliance for GLBTQ Youth has implemented a comprehensive service continuum for prevention and early intervention to protect the development of self-identity for all adolescents. The next several years promise to be exciting ones for The Alliance for GLBTQ Youth. The organization will continue to grow and offer innovative services to empower and strengthen gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth and their families; the organization will continue advocating for equal rights regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity; and the organization will continue to nurture our community throughout Miami-Dade County to bolster a collective vision of access and rights. The Board of Directors will play a central role in our essential work. We invite you to become a part of our growing movement.

We are expecting the board to be an active and dynamic one. We commend you for investing your precious resource, your time, in The Alliance for GLBTQ Youth. We know your participation will bring value not only to the organization, but to every young person struggling because the larger world denies them the legitimacy of their identities. Our community needs individuals like you –motivated, generous, and aspirant to change the status quo.
